Life Hacks for the Ladies
You may have already come across some of these life hacks on Pinterest, but there are enough new hacks included in this BuzzFeed article - 27 Life Hacks Every Girl Should Know - that I felt it worth sharing here. Memories from the 1980's
A friend of mine from elementary school recently wrote this piece, in which she takes a nostalgic look back on the some of the goodies - think Trapper Keepers, Choose Your Own Adventure novels, and Popples - enjoyed by the children of the 1980's (of which I was one), for Chicago Now. But when our summer travels led us directly through the destruction that just two months ago thrust Moore into the National spotlight, I learned that it's not yet time for us to move on. Read more about what the Red Cross has been doing in Moore, Oklahoma for the recovery process and how you can be a part of helping this town and the surrounding communities rebuild.
