Next week we celebrate 10 years of family gatherings at Tom's parents' lake home, otherwise known as the Lincoln Lodge, in Northern Wisconsin. 10 years of fishing, boating, tubing, and swimming in chilly Booth Lake. 10 years of fishfrys, campfires, and s'mores. 10 years of watching movies, reading books, and taking naps. 10 years of late nights laughing over Uno, Bertie Bott's Beans, Amaretto Sours, and freshly baked brownies...and 10 years of early mornings watching the sun rise (just kidding - the sun rises at 4:30am during the summer months and I've never once seen it come up), drinking coffee, eating pancakes, and playing solitaire. 10 years of birthday parties, 4th of July celebrations, and the most iyllic summer memories you can imagine.
Keep close to nature's heart...
Break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
