The Wicked Witch of the (Mid)West

Two years ago a tornado swept through Washington, Illinois and blew my sister's house away. The year that followed brought a great deal of emotional and mental turmoil, but over time, Sara, as well as her husband and kids, learned to find bits and pieces of joy and humor among the wreckage.

You might recall that in "The Wizard of Oz", a tornado carried Dorothy's house from Kansas to Oz and dropped it squarely on top of the Wicked Witch of the East, sparing only her ruby slippers. Sara and Jeff, feeling a kinship with young Dorothy, decided to have a little tornado-related fun decorating their house this Halloween.

Looks like the Washington tornado took out the Wicked Witch of the (Mid)West.
