2023 by the Numbers

At the end of each year I like to spend a little time reading through old posts and noting - thanks to the statistics feature associated with the blog - which topics were well-received (and which topics weren't, for that matter) by you, my readers. I have always written and will continue to write in my own voice, and I know how important it is for my blog remain a true representation of who I am, but I want my words to reach out in a way you find interesting and engaging.

As far as recurring posts were concerned, Monthly Medleys and High Five for Fridays continued to do generally well; they have almost the same number of views every week/month, so they serve as something of a baseline for me and I appreciate that consistency. There are, however, usually 10 or so non-recurring posts that outperform my Monthly Medleys and High Five for Fridays, and I like to reshare this content at the beginning of the new year in case you missed it. I figure that if everyone else liked these posts, you might like them too. Without further adieu, here are this year's Top 10 posts! (These are in no particular order.)

Monthly Medley: March 2023

I don't usually include HFFF or Monthly Medley posts in the top 10, but for some reason this post outperformed all other Monthly Medley posts by 500%. For the of me, I can't figure out why, but maybe there's something really good in here that I'm missing!
