My sincerest apologies, friends - I'm taking one more week "off" from my usual HFFF posts. Our summer roadtrip has been busier than most, if not all, of our trips in years past and I just haven't had time to craft these time-sensitive posts. (My Tuesday posts aren't usually time-sensitive the way my HFFF posts are, so I often click "publish" on them a few days or even a week or two in advance, which works well for travel.)
When this post goes live, I'll be driving the last leg of our journey home. We've had a wonderful (and again, incredibly busy) trip, but we're also SO excited to see our babies and our friends. It's been tough to be away from them for such a long time, however they were in excellent hands.
Until I can tell you all about this year's Midwestern experiences, here's a photo of my side of the family at the UW-Madison Memorial Union Terrace - the only place to be for the "19th Hole" (popcorn and beverages after the boys play 18 holes of disc golf) on Friday afternoons.
"See" you next Tuesday!
