High Five for Friday (10.13.23)

One

The weather last weekend was AMAZING. On Sunday morning I sat on the couch, enjoying my cup of coffee, WITH THE BACKDOOR OPEN AND UNDER A BLANKET. It was amazing, and I can't wait for more days that actually feel like fall.

Two

Last Thursday night I - along with a few other friends - had the honor of representing Ballet Brazos at The Arts Council's annual Celebrate the Arts Gala. The event included a silent auction, a raffle, a photo booth, a delicious dinner, and dueling pianos, which was a lot of fun.

The centerpiece we - as an Arts Council
organization - made for another organization's table.

Three

My friend Geralyn is running for reelection to the CSISD School Board. She's a fantastic person and elected member of the Board, and I fully support her as she campaigns to continue serving our students, teachers, and community. If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to reach out to me!

Four

Check out our newest (only?) record! A friend came across this find at a thrift shop and graciously gifted it to me. The countdown is on!

Five

Yesterday a few friends and I got together to celebrate another friend's completed pool. The water was cold, the weather was chilly, and the sun hid behind the clouds...so I was the only one who took the plunge. Mostly I did it to prove to myself that I could still tolerate less-than-ideal swimming conditions. #wisconsinblood 😂

Happy weekend, friends!
