Unless you live under a rock, you've seen pictures of and heard stories about what Texas has been struggling through this week. Let me assure you - from where I stand, this mess IS as bad and as scary as it seems...maybe worse, depending on where you get your news.
After about 40 hours with no power and 30 hours of intermittent/rolling power, today (Thursday) we finally have electricity. I'm taking advantage of that gift to quickly share that 1) we're hanging in there, and 2) there won't be a High Five for Friday post today.
I hope to return to regularly scheduled programming next Tuesday. Until then...Texans, hang in there. Everyone else, thanks for your love and support.
